We have so many choices to choose from! I like to include wineries that are considered "hidden gems", the ones that you may not know about. The selection for your tour is based on the preferences of those clients on the tour that day.
Some of our preferred wineries.........
They offer an outstanding tasting experience coupled with food pairings. Their staff is by far the most knowledgeable staff on the wine trail.
In the town of Hye, Texas, Hye Meadow Winery offers an unusual tasting list that features both white and red wines. A spectacular view off the porch makes an easy excuse to enjoy a bottle of wine.
With 40-50 wines to choose from, these wines made specifically for Texas. Tasty wines, sparking wine, sangria, big red wine and port wine are on the menu. They also have daily happy hours with half price glasses of vino. Taster get to keep the souvenier wine glass, too!
Sister Creek Vineyards
This is one of my personal favorites. The facility is a cotton gin from the 1880's. Clients get a behind the scene tour in the back of the winery where the magic of wine making happens. They offer 8 wines that have been very well recieved by clients. The staff is just as wonderful.
This tasting facility represents 3 wineries that wanted their presence known on the wine trail. McPherson from Lubbock, Brennan from Comanche, and Lost Oak from Burleson are showcased in a state of the art tasting room. Patrons choose from three tasting lists - a sweet and light wine list, a dry red and dry white list, and a red wine list.
William Chris Vineyards
According to my clients' experiences this is the best winery in the area! The folks working here are quite friendly and the wine is outstanding. Wine makers Chris and Bill pride themselves in producing as natural a product as you can find.
Texas Hills Vineyards
Located in Johnson City, Texas Hills offers a large variety of wine. Tasters should not pass on the "Kick Butt Cab" and thier Orange Moscato!
There are some wineries that we do not service. These may be difficult to get in and out on a busy Saturday (extended wait times) or they operate primarily as a wine club winery; if you are not in their wine club, you don't get quality service. We do not support that policy. If there are specific wineries you want to visit, please check with us before you make reservations!
